So someone in my family decided to record this US tv series called Grimm

Yeah, you might see where this is going.

Effectively, it’s a horrible braindead lovechild of Sherlock and Supernatural

and wow I don’t even watch Spn and I can tell.

So basically it’s about some detective guy (WHO CAN WORK THINGS OUT ABOUT PEOPLE JUST BY LOOKING AT THEM AHEM AHEM) and sometimes he sees people morph into these ugly Buffy-esque guys

AND I MEAN I’VE ONLY WATCHED LIKE HALF OF ONE EPISODE AND I CAN ALREADY TELL THAT HE’S GOING TO GO AROUND WITH OBLIGATORY BLACK GUY KILLING THESE MONSTORS WHICH ARE BASICALLY A MODERN TAKE ON THE BROTHER’S GRIMM FAIRY TALES.

Watch an epsiode and tell me that I’m not just overly protective of my fandoms haha

I mean like come on it’s a bit of a coincidence that re-make another book series into a modern day crime drama after Sherlock was so popular, here and in the States.

And now I’m just sitting here like OH GOD THE US VERSION OF SHERLOCK IS GOING TO BE HORRIBLE ISN’T IT

But what the hell people seem to be lapping it up so maybe I’m alone in my oinion of this one

And if it does get a massive fandom I swear to God if you don’t tag your posts about it I’ll be spamming your ask box
